We are a brand of eyewear that believes that it is possible to change the world, if we change the way we look at it.

The beginning.

Born in 2014 in Madrid, ESPAÑA, PARAFINA was founded by Javier Rodriguez, Samuel Soria and Alfonso de Luján, with the objetive to offer to the optician world a sustainable and affordable alternative.

From the first moment, we realized that if we wanted to make something that really have impact we must stake out each step we took, and on that base our philosophy was based.

Eco-friendly eyewear.

We start with the product, which we knew that, if we wanted it to have the least possible impact on the environment, it could not be otherwise than recycled or organic. We learned about the materials that could be used to produce our glasses and discovered that there are many ecological alternatives to the materials that most brands use today, We also realized that these materials are very durable, which means that our glasses are too. And from the beginning until today we continue to investigate ways to create glasses of high quality, design and durability in the most sustainable way possible.

A change in society.

We also decided that we want to do something not only for the environment and the Planet, but also for people who live in it. Especially for those people who do not have the resources that we often take for granted, but that a large part of the world's population does not have.

And we decided to create our own social project, Parafina Social Project, to which we would donate 5% of our profits annually, granting scholarships to children without resources in the city of Asunción, Paraguay.

A solid base on which we grow every day.

With these clear pillars we begin to grow. We went from being 3, working at our parents' house and traveling in a van around Spain from pop up to pop up, to having a staff of 10 employees, selling PARAFINA in more than 40 countries, and most importantly, being assuming with each step that we make a positive impact on the planet and society.
