CAUCE - Sustainable Thinking Made Easy

The CAUCE frame is made from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), a type of plastic found in beverage and textile containers. At PARAFINA we take care of recycling the PET that comes from uncontrolled landfills to prevent it from reaching the sea. The CAUCE sun model is characterized by being a light and water resistant sunglasses. The lenses we use for the CAUCE model (made of polycarbonate) have UV 400 protection (cat. 3) and are polarized, that is, they reduce glare, optical stress and offer better contrast.

The Transparent Yellow and Grey colors have mirrored lenses.

Der CAUCE-Rahmen besteht aus Polyethylenterephthalat (PET), einem Kunststoff, der in Getränke- und Textilbehältern vorkommt. Bei PARAFINA kümmern wir uns um das Recycling von PET, das von unkontrollierten Deponien stammt, um zu verhindern, dass es ins Meer gelangt. Das Modell CAUCE sun zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass es eine leichte und wasserabweisende Sonnenbrille ist. Die von uns für das Modell CAUCE verwendeten Gläser (aus Polycarbonat) verfügen über einen UV 400-Schutz (Kat. 3) und sind polarisiert, dh sie reduzieren Blendung, optische Belastung und bieten einen besseren Kontrast.

Die Farben Transparent Yellow und Grey haben verspiegelte Gläser.

Le cadre CAUCE est fabriqué à partir de polyéthylène téréphtalate (PET), un type de plastique que l’on trouve dans les récipients pour boissons et textiles. Chez PARAFINA nous veillons à recycler le PET qui provient de décharges non contrôlées pour éviter qu’il n’atteigne la mer. Le modèle CAUCE sun se caractérise par être des lunettes de soleil légères et résistantes à l’eau. Les verres que nous utilisons pour le modèle CAUCE (en polycarbonate) ont une protection UV 400 (cat. 3) et sont polarisés, c’est-à-dire qu’ils réduisent l’éblouissement, le stress optique et offrent un meilleur contraste.

Les couleurs jaune transparent et gris ont des verres miroir.

Noi di PARAFINA ci occupiamo di riciclare il PET che proviene da discariche non controllate per evitare che arrivi al mare. Our packaging is social.

Our packaging is much more than a box to store your PARAFINA. It is a symbol of Parafina Social Project. Every year we donate a 5% of our profits to this project,  in which we build schools for underprivileged children in the small city of Asunción, Paraguay.

Every time you buy some PARAFINA you will receive them in a pencil case like the one our students receive at the beginning of the course.
