COSTA - LIVING SUSTAINABLE MADE EASY

Our COSTA sunglasses combine 100% recycled HDPE plastic, used in the frame, and pesticide- and toxic-free organic bamboo, used in the temples and sourced from our own plantation. The result of this combination of materials is a sunglass with great contrast, personality and ultra-lightweight. The lenses of the COSTA model, made of polycarbonate, have UV400 protection (cat. 3) and are polarised. Polarisation reduces glare, optical stress and contrast. The Transparent and Soft Tortoise colours have mirrored lenses.

Unsere COSTA-Sonnenbrillen bestehen zu 100 % aus recyceltem HDPE-Kunststoff, der für den Rahmen verwendet wird, und aus pestizid- und giftfreiem Bio-Bambus, der für die Bügel verwendet wird und von unserer eigenen Plantage stammt. Das Ergebnis dieser Materialkombination ist eine Sonnenbrille mit großem Kontrast, Persönlichkeit und ultraleichtem Gewicht. Die Gläser des Modells COSTA bestehen aus Polycarbonat, haben einen UV400-Schutz (Kat. 3) und sind polarisiert. Die Polarisierung verringert Blendung, optische Belastung und Kontrast. Die Farben Transparent und Soft Tortoise haben verspiegelte Gläser.

Nos lunettes de soleil COSTA combinent du plastique HDPE 100% recyclé, utilisé dans la monture, et du bambou organique sans pesticides ni produits toxiques, utilisé dans les branches et provenant de notre propre plantation. Le résultat de cette combinaison de matériaux est une lunette de soleil avec un grand contraste, de la personnalité et un poids ultra léger. Les verres du modèle COSTA, en polycarbonate, ont une protection UV400 (cat. 3) et sont polarisés. La polarisation réduit l’éblouissement, le stress optique et le contraste. Les couleurs Transparent et Soft Tortoise ont des verres miroirs.

I nostri occhiali da sole COSTA combinano il 100% di plastica HDPE riciclata, usata nella montatura, e il bambù organico senza pesticidi e tossici, usato nelle aste e proveniente dalla nostra piantagione. Il risultato di questa combinazione di materiali è un occhiale da sole con grande contrasto, personalità e ultra leggero. Le lenti del modello COSTA, in policarbonato, hanno una protezione UV400 (cat. 3) e sono polarizzate. La polarizzazione riduce l’abbagliamento, lo stress ottico e il contrasto. I colori Transparent e Soft Tortoise hanno lenti a specchio.

Our packaging is social.

Our packaging is much more than a box to store your PARAFINA. It is a symbol of Parafina Social Project. Every year we donate a 5% of our profits to this project,  in which we build schools for underprivileged children in the small city of Asunción, Paraguay.

Every time you buy some PARAFINA you will receive them in a pencil case like the one our students receive at the beginning of the course. 

A recycled plastic pencil case

Identical to the one that our children from Paraguay receive to carry out their school supplies. Inside this case, made with 100% recycled HDPE plastic, you will receive a micro fiber case to protect your glasses.

An eco-pencil

With your purchase, like the scholarship children, you also receive our ecological pencil. Once consumed, you can plant and grow a tree. In this way, you can helps us to reduce the carbon footprint created directly by our products.
